ask4 reaches a Pinnacle in Sheffield

A Sheffield-based telecommunications company has secured a contract to supply the UK’s fastest Broadband service to state of the art student accommodation in the city.

ask4, leading independent supplier of broadband Internet services to student accommodation across the UK, will now service over 650 outlets at newly opened student apartment block The Pinnacles.

The property, located on Broad Street near the heart of the city centre, is run by property management company Mainstay on behalf of Swanbourne and was chosen to launch ask4’s new super speed 50mb broadband service due to its central location and state of the art facilities.

The educational sector is a key driver for ask4, a privately owned company with offices in Sheffield, and in the past 12 months the company has increased its student client base from 20,000 to 34,000.

Along with the super-speed 50mb instant Broadband, the package also includes no download limits or usage charges.

The Pinnacles opened its doors to Sheffield students in September and combines traditional student living with a contemporary finish and open plan layout. Students have access to an en-suite bedroom, 32” LCD television, sky television, as well as an on site shop and cash point.
