UKNOF in Sheffield

This week the UK Network Operators' Forum (UKNOF) comes to Sheffield.  Operating as an "open forum for operational, technical and engineering information exchange related to networking technologies and practices", UKNOF is a not for profit organisation. The third and final meeting of 2015, UKNOF32, will be held in Sheffield's city centre from Wednesday 16th to Thursday 17th of September. The agenda includes presentations surrounding the evolution of ethernet speeds, Great British IXP failures and  four generations of Google's datacentre network. There will also be plenty of time for networking during the social events.

Alongside AxiansFlexOptix and AQL, ASK4 are sponsoring the social event on Wednesday evening, hosting UKNOF attendees in true Yorkshire style. Taking place at Kelham Island Museum, in one of in one of the city’s oldest industrial districts, the evening will include beer from Bradfield Brewery, some Authentic Yorkshire Crisps, a Yorkshire inspired ‘pie and pea’ supper with some Henderson's Relish, and a not-to-be-missed experience of the mighty 18,000hp River Don Steam Engine.

Places for the social are strictly limited, so if you are a UKNOF attendee please visit the Axians stand to collect your invitation.

It promises to be a great two days!
