Your Wellbeing at ASK4
The physical and mental wellbeing of our colleagues is a high priority for ASK4, and there are many ways in which we support that.

Our colleagues have access to health and wellbeing benefits such as health care cover, contribution to health assessments, annual flu vaccinations, eyecare tests and a regular calendar of wellbeing awareness activities.

We also have a number of trained Mental Health First Aiders within our business who are positioned to be available to listen and provide guidance and support.

Mental Health First Aiders

Our mental health first aiders are fully trained in mental wellbeing and are on hand to chat to colleagues, giving help and advice when needed.

Volunteering

ASK4 supports colleagues in making a difference in the communities in which they live and work. We encorague everyone to make use of thier volunteer day allowance to get involved with causes and charities that mean a lot to them to help make a positive difference.

Colleagues are given the opportunity to take up to two volunteering days’ per year to make a difference in the communities they live/work in.
Connor, ASK4's Service Desk Support Engineer, volunteered at Hope English School, a charity in Sheffield that specializes in the provision of ESOL classes and digital skills training to asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable adults. Connor used his IT skills to complete a file system migration from an ad-hock setup to something that was industry standard, closing off some holes in their security at the same time. Connor also changed the setup for the organization, so that it wasn’t completely reliant on one single user.
Mental health first aid training is so important as it gives us the opportunity to support the mental health and wellbeing of our peers in a safe and supportive environment.
