Takeback of WEEE
ASK4 does not distribute household WEEE to consumers within the EU.
We typically remove WEEE at the end of a contract term or at the end of the equipment’s natural life.
In respect of dual use equipment (laptops or similar equipment that although supplied to our business customers could be used within a household) that ASK4 has supplied, ASK4 offers a free of charge take back scheme. Contact: legal@ask4.com for more information.
All WEEE is disposed of in accordance with appropriate available treatment, recovery and recycling techniques and ASK4 works with third party service providers for the disposal of WEEE to ensure this.
Information on WEEE
How to dispose of Electrical and Electronic Equipment: Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), typically marked with the “wheely bin” below, shouldn't be disposed of along with household waste. EEE may contain hazardous substances which, if exposed, could be detrimental to the environment, wildlife, and human health. If you'd like to dispose of electrical or electronic equipment for recycling, we recommend you donate it if it's still working, take it to a local designated collection facility (DCF) or participate in national recycling campaigns.
Removing data from electrical and electronic devices: You should erase all personal or confidential data before recycling it. Although ASK4 uses best practice to removal all data, this applies even where ASK4 takes back WEEE.
