CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is part of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) framework, which is designed to verify a contractor’s competence, meaning that clients can be confident in who they work with. By holding this accreditation, ASK4’s processes, policies and practices have been independently assessed and verified, saving clients the time and effort of navigating extensive documentation.
This latest accreditation includes the Common Assessment Standard, a benchmark introduced to help align the many different SSIP schemes across the industry. The Common Assessment Standard not only simplifies the procurement process for clients but also ensures greater consistency and transparency in contractor assessments.Â
